Curtains

The mountain road to Tawang after Bhalukphong is mostly blanketed in mist, especially so after crossing the Sela (pass).  The curtains lifted momentarily to reveal the (then) tiny town of Tawang.  One of the grandest displays of mist I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a few if I say so myself.  Sometimes, it was difficult to make out a 500kg jet-black yak standing in our mist-blanketed path five metres from us.  Needless to say, the drive was slow and fun.  Fuji Crystal 400 + 50mm f/1.8 Nikkor.  Only a snapshot, but an unforgettable moment for me.
